Casey Garcia

Casey Garcia was taken to his eternal home on June 17, 2011 in crop dusting accident outside of Highmore, South Dakota. Flying was not only his career, but his passion. He loved anything and everything to do with aviation. Casey was known for his huge smile, his friendly personality, and could light up any room he walked into. He had many hobbies including hunting, flying, fishing, motorbikes, mechanics and many more. He loved spending time with family and friends and always looked forward to meeting new people. He was enthusiastic about life and lived it to the fullest.

Casey was born on June 11, 1980 in Wenatchee. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1998 and went on to earn his Aviation Degree from Big Bend Community College. He was presently employed as an Ag Pilot and Aviation Mechanic at Wilbur-Ellis in Highmore.

Casey will be greatly missed by his wife of nine years, Lisa Garcia and children, Jazelda, Tayton, Gage and Delia; his parents Carolyn Garcia and Ruben Garcia; sisters Yolanda Garcia and Heidi Manly; brothers Ruben Garcia Jr., Jerry Garcia, Juan Garcia, Wade Petersen, Pat Garcia, and Colby Petersen and their families, and parents-in-law Robert and Janice VanDiest and family.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Wallenstien Theater at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake.
