Reader upset by county politics

| June 24, 2011 6:00 AM

After experiencing what it is like to be "home teamed" by Grant County bureaucrats and suffering under the heavy hand of local government regulators, I find rumors of similar behavior, by these offenders, to be very credible.

Soon, when the Republican National Committee comes looking for donations, I will be telling them why they won't be receiving any support from me.

One primary reason: the skilled pretenders known as the Grant County commissioners.

I encourage readers to support their candidates of choice by only giving directly to their candidate, individually, and not to any political party or trade organization.

The national party organizations are only interested in retaining power and keeping the "sheeple" in their place. They pay mere lip service to the small guys and co-opt grass roots movements. "Too big to fail" corporations are rescued at the expense of Main Street, USA.

Middle class Americans have been sold out and they need to wake up now! Too many people stand silently while the entrenched politicians continue to rip us off. If you think that this doesn't apply locally, think again.

Very few candidates have the guts to limit government and reduce regulation, which is desperately needed.

Watch the RNC force Mitt Romney upon us, who will probably implement more of the same failed ideas and policies that will doom future generations of Americans to a life of servitude to "Big Brother." Our nation can't afford the insanity anymore.

Thank you, Grant County commissioners. Your behavior really opened my eyes to the appalling activities of government and how you treat law abiding citizens.

You should have honored our agreement expeditiously instead of blindly protecting an arrogant, incompetent county employee.

And you say that you aren't politicians? Good one.
