plumbing systems and surface finishes to house expanded by Head

Start Services provided by Family Services, Family Planning and

Head Start, along with site improvements as described in the

contract documents.

Family Services of Grant County Owner 1402 Craig Street Moses Lake, WA 98837 Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of a wood frame addition of about 4,550 sf including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and surface finishes to house expanded by Head Start Services provided by Family Services, Family Planning and Head Start, along with site improvements as described in the contract documents. Project estimate range is $650,000.00 to $700,000. Bids will be received by Family Services of Grant County, the Owner, at the office of the Owner, 1402 Craig Street, Moses Lake WA. until 3 p.m., (Standard Time – Daylight Savings Time) July 26, 2011 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. This project is funded in whole or in part by funds made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This contract is expected to be funded in whole or in part using funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Section 1605 of the ARRA prohibits the use of these funds unless all iron, steel, and manufactured goods are produced in the United States. All iron and steel manufacturing processes must take place in the United States, except for metallurgical processes involving refinement of steel additives. There is no requirement for the origin of components and subcomponents of manufactured goods. Products listed at 48 CFR 25.104(a) have been determined to be unavailable in the United States and if required for the project may be purchased from foreign sources. No unauthorized use of foreign iron, steel, and/or manufactured goods will be allowed on this project. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: Office of the Architect, M.J. Neal Associates 200 Palouse, Suite 202, Wenatchee, WA.; Spokane Regional Plan Center, East 102 Boone, Spokane, WA.; Tri-City Construction Council, 20 E. Kennewick Ave., Kennewick, WA.; Wenatchee Construction Council, 201 So. Mission St., Wenatchee, WA.; Yakima Plan Center, 528 North 20th Street, Yakima, WA.; Associated Builders and Contractors, N. 1401 Thor Court, Spokane, WA; Builders Exchange, 2607 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of the Architect located as noted above. General Contractors may obtain a maximum of 2 sets upon payment of $200.00 for each set plus applicable mailing/delivery costs. Major Subcontractors (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical) may obtain 1 set upon payment of $200.00 for each plus applicable mailing/delivery costs. Other Subcontractors and/or material suppliers may obtain full or partial sets for non-refundable cost of printing and mailing. Any BIDDER, upon returning the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS within 10 days of bid date and in good condition, will be refunded the payment. A pre-bid walk-through will be conducted on site at 11:00 a.m. July 5, 2011.
