NOTICE OF APPLICATION, NOTICE OF ADOPTION AND PROPOSED DNS

Notice is hereby given that a Minor Zone Change and SEPA Checklist was initiated by Grant County on June 13, 2011. Grant County adopts the 1999 (and updated 2006) Comprehensive Plan and combined EIS and expects to issue a DNS for this proposal under the Optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355. The proposal may include mitigation measures under the applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation. PROPOSED MITIGATION:

PROJECT: A Minor Zone Change of several parcels located in the Lakeview Park Plat from Urban Commercial - 1 to Urban Residential - 4, in order to make the Zoning District of the subject area consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation, which was changed as part of the 2002 Comprehensive Plan amendment process. PRESENT ZONING: Urban Commercial - 1. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: None. STUDIES SUBMITTED: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The subject area is located on the easterly side of Ephrata Avenue NW and the most of the parcels located on westerly side of Moses Lake Avenue. All parcels are located in Section 25, Township 22 North, Range 26 East, WM, Grant County, WA.
