MATTAWA - A Mattawa home was raided after a vehicle drug bust in Oregon ended in the arrest of a Mattawa woman, and several drug-traffic-related items were seized.

The Mattawa woman was driving through central Oregon when her vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation, according to Grant County Sheriff Deputy Ryan Rectenwald.

Oregon State Police and Central Oregon Drug Enforcement officers then served a search warrant on her vehicle. The search yielded two pounds of crystal methamphetamine, more than half a pound of powder cocaine, 1,000 Ecstasy pills, a 9mm handgun reported stolen in Idaho and $53,000 in cash.

Oregon officers contacted the Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) in Grant County. The INET then executed a search warrant on the woman's Mattawa home at 300 S. Selkirk Ave.

According to Rectenwald, no one was arrested in the house raid, but several items were seized, including a vehicle. The haul included two ounces of crystal meth, 10 grams of powder cocaine, 1,200 Ecstasy pills, a 2001 Ford F250 pickup, two utility trailers and $1,200 in cash.

The INET also executed a search warrant on four bank accounts registered to the arrested woman, Rectenwald said. Officers seized $106,000 from a bank in Tukwila and $2,600 from a bank in Mattawa. Accounts in Quincy and Ellensburg yielded no funds.

According to Rectenwald, there were no additional suspects as of June 8, but the investigation of the matter was continuing.
