received applications from Perfect Blend, LLC. for Air Quality

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AIR QUALITY APPROVAL OF A Fertilizer Plant TO BE OPERATED at 771 S. Kulm Road, near Othello, WA

The State of Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) has received applications from Perfect Blend, LLC. for Air Quality Program approval to improve pollution control systems, increase production, and operate a fertilizer production plant at 771 S. Kulm Road near Othello, WA. A legal description of the location is the SW º of Section 7, Township 15 North, Range 32 East, Willamette Meridian. After review of the Perfect Blend Notice of Construction application and other information on file with the agency, Ecology has made a preliminary determination that this proposal will conform to all requirements as specified in Chapter 173-400 WAC and Chapter 173-460 WAC. Copies of the Preliminary Determination and other pertinent information are available for public review at Ecology, 4601 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA 99205-1295, and at the Adams County Planning and Building Department, 425 E. Main St., Suite 200, Othello, WA 99344-1146.

The public is invited to comment on the project by submitting written comments within 30 days of publication of this notice to Robert Koster at the above Spokane address. A public hearing may be held if significant public interest is determined to exist.
