Roland worked for the Moses Lake School District for over 33 years. He enjoyed his work in the warehouse and we know he will be truly missed by all those he worked with.
Roland's first love was his walk with God. That was very important to him. During his time in the hospital he always told his family that he was not afraid to die, because he knew that he was going to a better place, "Heaven." He is now looking down at us and saying, "Don't be sad because I have a mansion and I am with my heavenly father."
He loved fishing, camping, and making memories with his family and friends. As long as he was able to have a fishing pole in his hand that was all that mattered.
Roland had seven grandchildren, Tristan, Nyomie, Zarek, Ryle, Anakin, Benjamin and Jaxon. All of them will carry awesome memories of their grandfather and they will miss him always.
He had an extended family who will also miss him. They look back at all the times he made them laugh because he was a character. He was in their lives for many years and have a lot of memories. His is gone but never forgotten.
Roland and Margie had 40 years together. Everyone knew how much he loved her. They had a marriage that others admired. Together they served God and both wanted everyone that crossed their path to come to the Lord. Roland's mission is complete but Margie will continue on for the both of them. Roland always said "Never give up on God".
