Motzkus, Mickleson tie atop June 1 men's golf

CRESCENT BAR - Chuck Motzkus and Even Mickleson shot matching 64s to tie for first place in men's club play on June 1 at the Crescent Bar Golf Course.
There were 20 golfers for the net score only day. They played in two divisions and had special prizes for closest-to-the-pin (KP) on holes 3/12 and 5/14.
Second place in division 1 went to Tom Harris with 66.
The division winner was Larry Ward with 64. David Hayes took second place with 69. Burt Lucas finished third with 70.
Harris and Gordon Lennon were recognized for scoring birdies on holes No. 6. Frank Laine birdied hole No. 5.
The KP winners were Laine on holes 3/12 and Earl Wolf on holes 5/14.
