William Hawkins
William (Bud) Hawkins, 86, a long time resident of Quincy died Monday June 6, 2011. He was born in Van Buren, Arkansas July 20, 1924 to Samuel Wayne and Bertha May Hawkins. Moved to Paso Robles, California where he met and married his wife of 62 years Elizabeth (Betty) Hawkins and she blessed him with 2 children, William (Butch) Hawkins and Christine Ledgerwood. Moved to Quincy in 1972 where he lived the rest of his life. He is survived by his wife, 2 children, 11 grandchildren and 14 3/4 great grandchildren. He was a good man, good husband and a good father. A memorial will be held at the Church of the Nazarene on Saturday June 25th at 11:00 am.
