Royal business manager takes same post at Wahluke
File Photo: Royal School District business manager and Richland resident Clinton Sherman will be working closer to home next fall when he assumes the same role in the Wahluke School District.
ROYAL CITY - Sherman Clinton, the business manager for the Royal School District, will take over the position of business manager in the Wahluke School District next fall.
Sherman was the Royal business manager for four years, the first such post for him. He expects his last day here to be June 30 and his first day in Mattawa to be July 1.
However, Sherman has informed the district he'll be willing to give a little more time to help train his replacement.
Sherman is a resident of Richland. He said that fact was a major factor in seeking the Mattawa position.
"I'll be working closer to home," he said.
Sherman grew up in the Ephrata and attended Ephrata schools through high school graduation. He has an AA from Big Bend Community College and has attended Eastern Washington University.
Sherman is completing work toward a general business administration degree at Washington State University-Tri Cities.
