OTHELLO - The Othello Wrestling Club program announced recently that it will host its 2011 wrestling camp on July 8-10 at Othello High School.

The Huskies also will have Oklahoma State Cowboys assistant coach Eric Guerrero featured at the camp. Guerrero is also a former three-time NCAA individual champion while he also was part of three championship teams.

The camp costs $125 and includes a t-shirt and lunches. All pre-registered wrestlers are guaranteed their t-shirt size.

The camp is for wrestlers in grades 6-12 for the 2011-12 season. The camp is designed for 'serious' wrestlers.

If a younger, hopeful wrestler feels they can benefit from attending the camp, they can make arrangements before signing up for the camp.

Girls are encouraged to sign up and to bring a female workout partner.

Space at the camp is limited so it is vital for those interested to contact head coach Ruben Martinez as soon as possible.

Martinez can be reached at 509-331-8898 or via e-mail at rmartinez@othello.wednet.edu.

Persons can also mail Othello Wrestling Club C/O Ruben Martinez, 826 E. Spruce Street, Othello, 99344.

Checks are to made payable to Othello Wrestling Club.
