MEMORIAL PLAQUE Reader wants item replaced

| June 3, 2011 6:00 AM

This is in regard to the WWII honorary plaque that used to be located in the area of the city hall. This had all the names of the local boys that were in the service from our area. For some reason, unknown to us, it was removed and never replaced.

These soldiers were friends and family in the Moses Lake area and should be honored for what they achieved. My wife had three brothers and I had one that were wounded. If this plaque has not been destroyed, or the names are still available, it would be wonderful to honor them again.

We are in our 80s and it would be nice to see this replaced in our lifetimes.
