Cynthia Lorene McGowan

Cynthia "Cindy" Lorene McGowan, 63, lost her long hard battle with diabetes and went to join the Heavenly Father on Friday, May 27, 2011. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

Cindy met John McGowan in 1972 and they were married that year. They had 3 children. A daughter, Dana (Tony), son Brian, and daughter, Nancy (Eddy). John was in the Navy at the time and they frequently moved from duty station to duty station. After John's retirement in 1988, they settled in Seattle. However, 5 years later they moved to Moses Lake where they have since resided. Cindy loved bingo. When she couldn't play at a bingo parlor, she would find a game on the internet!! She loved her grandchildren, Jordan, Allyson, Joey and Gabriel.

Cindy is survived by her husband John, daughter Dana, son Brian, and daughter Nancy, sister Sheila (Bruce), brother Patrick, brother-in-laws Tom (Jan), Kelly (Annie) and Dennis (Linda) and sister-in-laws Trudy (Tom) and Dani Lee. She was preceded in death by her father, Erwin and mother, LuWanna.

Cindy was a loving wife, mother and friend. She will be missed. We all love you Cindy.
