Reader believes Brunell got the facts wrong

| July 30, 2011 3:00 AM

Mr. Brunell talks about safe chemicals for getting natural gas out of shale. He is not very well informed.

The chemicals used are not approved by the EPA, and the companies will not tell anyone what they are.

Don't forget about the small community in the Northeast whose water supply became contaminated. The gas drilling company didn't fess up as being responsible. They paid the citizens of the community millions as a settlement.

Mr. Brunell needs to get accurate information before he makes comments with no knowledge of what he is talking about.
