Parrott, Phelps, Motzkuses win men's mixed scramble

CRESCENT BAR - The team of Sharon Parrott, George Phelps and Gail and Chuck Motzkus took first place with 55.85 at the annual mixed scramble hosted by the Crescent Bar Golf Course men's club on July 10.
The scramble was followed by dinner at the Sand Trap Bar and Grill.
The competitions were team low net, team long putt and individual closest-to-the-pin for men and women.
The second-place team with 56.10 was made up of Mary Wolverton, John Kiehl and Jerry and Eileen Hoene. Third with 56.60 was the team of Lyn Murray, Jerry Riddle and Donna and Bob Wells.
The long team putt of 42-10, was turned in by the grouping of Tom and Jan Harris and Candy and Gordon Lennon.
KP winners were:
Women's first place - Carol Prinzen, 11-15.
Women's second place - Mary Wolverton, 28-4.
Men's first place - Orlan Wood, 10-11.
Men's second place - Chuck Motzkus, 16-3.
