Brantner, Phelps tour course in 27

CRESCENT BAR - Larry Brantner and George Phelps toured the Crescent Bar Golf Course in 27 putts on July 13 to win one phase of the Men's Day competition.

Second place went to Larry Aliment, who required only 29 putts to complete the round.

The second competition was regular play, net scoring, by division. Phelps was the first division winner with 65. Jon Bergman won the second division with 64.

Second in the first division tied with 67 were Branter and Don DeMuth.

Second in the second division with 67 was Larry Aliment. Third with 68 was Jerry Hoene.

Birdies were scored by Don McGinnis (hole No. 3), Bergman (No. 3), Brantner (No. 6) and Phelps ( Nos. 9 & 15).
