She was born and raised in Wapato, WA. In 1941, Aiko married Chisato Omori and 1942 they went to Hart Mountain Internment Camp in Wyoming. Upon leaving the internment camp in 1944, Chi and Aiko moved to Spokane, Washington and then later that year settled in Moses Lake where they became life-long residents. Family, friends and anything sweet meant a lot to Grandma Aiko. She enjoyed a good joke, a big hug, playing games, and watching the Mariners. She also loved to cook, entertain, garden and fish. Grandma Aiko leaves all of us with fond and humorous memories in our hearts. She is preceded in death by her husband Chi, parents: Kantaro and Yasu Osumi, four brothers: Sadami, Terry, Ned, Fred and a sister: Miya Miyahara and her dogs: Dusty, Butch, Missy and Baby. She is survived by her son: Ron and Susie Omori, her daughters: Marlene and Bob Ota, and Tami and Nathan Edwards, granddaughters: Kimberly and Charles Marth and Jynnifer Edwards and her fiancé Rick Tarver; grandson Jonathan and Kelsey Edwards; great grandson Jeremy and Christopher Marth: and 3 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Aiko's faithful and dedicated caretaker and friend, Lucy Garcia for everything she has done.
