Parker goes low to win

CRESCENT BAR - Bill Parker fired a 65 for the low round of the field and first place in division 1 of the Crescent Bar Golf Course Men's Day Competition on June 22. The day's play was net score only, by division, and KPs (closest to the pin) in each division. There were 19 players.
The shot of the day was Bill Sprague's first at the par-3, 145-yard third hole. It stopped one foot, eight inches from an ace. Joe Quintanilla won KP on the par-3 140-yard fifth hole with an effort of 7-2. Second place in the first division went to Jerry Hoene with 67. Orlan Wood finished third with 69.
Quintanilla finished first in the second division with 68. Jack Quealey scored 70 for second place, and Larry Aliment took third with 71.
