County collects latex paint free of charge

EPHRATA - Joan Melvin of the Grant County Solid Waste Programs, reminds the community that the county offers free year-around collection of latex paint from commercial and residential sources.

The paint may be taken to the Ephrata Landfill and the CDSI Transfer & Recycling Center near Moses Lake during normal hours of operation. It can also be taken to county-operated garbage drop boxes near Royal City, Mattawa, Warden, O'Sullivan and George.
