Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit application received by Grant County on January 10, 2011, from Grant County Fire District #5 (Designated Contact: Dale Bjork, 11058 Nelson Road NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-765-3175) was found to be technically complete on January 21, 2011. PROJECT: A Conditional Use Permit for the addition of an air medical transport operations base to an existing emergency facility on an 11.32-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. New development will include construction of a 40-ft. x 60-ft. (approximately 2,400 square ft.) helicopter storage hangar, installation of an asphalt helicopter landing zone, and placement of a 28-ft. x 60-ft. (approximately 1,680 square ft.) manufactured home for aircraft personnel use. SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permits. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 11821 Stratford Road NE, Moses Lake, WA. It is located approximately 8 miles north of Moses Lake, WA, near the intersection of Stratford Road NE and Road 12 NE, and in the NW quarter of Section 2, Township 20 North, Range 28 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #17-0905-002). PUBLIC HEARING: Hearing Examiner meeting tentatively scheduled at 12:00 noon, March 9, 2011, in Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
