As reported in yesterday's edition of the Columbia Basin Herald, the Moses Lake High School Chiefs bowling team captured the Class 4A District 5/6 Bowling title at Kennewick's Spare Time Lanes.

The Chiefs recorded their title by outlasting rivals Wenatchee who had held the upper hand in the regular season, winning two dual matches and having a third win taken away after being forced to forfeit due to using an ineligible bowler.

The team returned home yesterday to Lake Bowl and decided to celebrate its win (above) and present their collection of hardware. Now, the team travels to University Place next weekend for the state tournament.
