OTHELLO - Once again the Othello Huskies are regular season champions of the Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC).

Last night, the Huskies played host to a top notch Selah squad and came away 45-32 victors and now can also go through the CWAC unbeaten for a second straight season with a win tonight against Ephrata.

"I am  very proud of how this team managed to stick together and do what was needed to get dual wins," Othello head coach Ruben Martinez said. "We had kids going down weight and a few wrestlers go up a couple of weights and we relied on some freshmen to fill some holes in our dual line-up, as our motto is to never give you free points."

Four Othello pins were  recorded by Anthony Barrera (103-pounds, third period), Lucas Garza (119-pounds, second period), Stevie Garza, Eddie Garza (145-pounds, second period), (171-pounds, first period).

The other Huskies points came via two forfeits at 112 and 160-pounds, and decisions by Matt Jordan (140-pounds, technical fall) and Alberto Vargas (215-pounds, 11-1).
