"American exceptionalism" was best illustrated by our response to the tragic events in Arizona: our Latino-American congressional aide intern helped save the life of our female Jewish-American US Representative, our Korean-American physician provided her expert medical care, and our African-American President rallied our country to her recovery and eulogized the victims.
