Realtors install new board officers
Rick Serra, from Moses Lake, performs at the Moses Lake Realtor Association Banquet Saturday night at the Moses Lake country club. Serra, also a Real Estate Agent with Gary Mann Real Estate, hails from the San Francisco Bay area and has played such music greats as John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Al Kooper and Pat Travers. The Shades, a local group, accompanied Serra at the annual banquet.
MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake-Othello Association of Realtors swore in new board officers during their banquet and honored realtors for their extra efforts.
Before more than 100 people this weekend, Faye Nelson, the state Realtors Assocation 2012 president elect, installed new officers, according to Diane Escure, association executive.
They are: 2011 President Jeff Foster; Secretary, Diane Escure, Treasurer, Amy Kirwin; Local Director 2011 Mary Dunkin; Local Director 2012 Carol Cruz; Local Director 2013 Amy Alsted; State Director Cathy Strickland; and Alternate State Director Mary Ann Hopperstad.
Outgoing 2010 President Cathy Strickland received the realtor of the year and realtor achievement awards.
Recognition was also given to Amy Kirwan, realtor community service award, Scott Schmig, of Security Title, affiliate of the year, Dr. Craig Harder, citizen of the year and Lupe Hernandez, good neighbor award.
