QUINCY - A chance for a weekend sweep of Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) games went up in smoke with a trying fourth quarter on Saturday night.
Leading 33-21 at halftime, the Quincy Jacks saw that lead dissipate to a two-point deficit after the third quarter.
But, despite being in striking range, the visiting Wapato Wolves would close the deal on their valiant rally with a 21-13 fourth quarter and hold on for a 61-51 win.
Quincy was led by Luke Grigg's 13 points and Jacob Durfee's 11 points and 11 rebounds.
A night earlier, the Jacks held on for a 44-38 win at Toppenish.
Quincy held their hosts to seven points in the fourth quarter to record the win.
Chase Peterson led Quincy with 17 points.
