Boys basketball: ACH 78, Wilbur-Creston 30

COULEE CITY - With the top-ranking in Class 1B on the line, the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors went to task on Saturday against Bi County league rivals, Wilbur-Creston.
Living up to their pre-game billing, the Warriors broke out to a 34-7 lead and never looked back in recording a 78-30 rout.
Derek Isaak led ACH (15-0, 4-0) with 22 points, while Cody Jess added 14 points as did Robert Hurka.
ACH kicked off the weekend with a strong 66-39 win over a respectable Valley Christian team.
The Warriors handed their opponent its first league loss after holding a 32-18 halftime lead to gain the edge ACH needed to pull away.
Isaak finished with 31 points to lead ACH while Brandon Boutain added 19 points.
