Donations needed for homeless people

MOSES LAKE - Volunteers working for the "Point in Time Homeless Count" are seeking help collecting items for homeless people in Grant County.

The homeless count is set for Jan. 27, which looks for homeless people, collects data and gives out supplies to people in need.

Warm blankets, hygiene packs, coats, hats, gloves, hand warmers, flashlights, food, bottled water, sleeping bags, shoes and boots, tents, tarps, rope and rain coats are some of the items needed. Other donations are welcome as well, according to organizers.

Donations can be brought to New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services in the Grant County Integrated Services building at 840 East Plum St. or Serve Moses Lake at 422 West Third Ave.
