seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's

Construction Stormwater General Permit.

CITY OF MOSES LAKE, 321 S. Balsam St., Moses Lake, WA 98837 is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's Construction Stormwater General Permit.

The proposed project, COF HEADWORKS IMPROVEMENTS, is located at 1303 W. LAKESIDE DRIVE in Moses Lake, in Grant County.

This project involves 1.20 acres of soil disturbances for construction activities associated with site preparation, earthwork, site improvements, utility work and construction of a new sewer headworks and a 1.2 million gallon emergency storage basin.

Stormwater will be discharged to Moses Lake.

Any persons desiring to present their views to the Department of Ecology regarding this application, or interested in the Department's action on this application, may notify Ecology in writing within 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice. Ecology reviews public comments and considers whether discharges from this project would cause a measurable change in receiving water quality, and, if so, whether the project is necessary and in the overriding public interest according to Tier II antidegradation requirements under WAC 173-201A-320.
