Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City

of Ephrata, 121 Alder Street SW, Ephrata, WA 98823, up to 2:00

p.m.; local time on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, for furnishing the

necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees

thereof. The work shall include all labor and materials for the

installation of variable frequency drives for the Oxidation Ditch

Rotors.

WRF OXIDATION DITCH ROTOR VFDs

ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE $170,000

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Ephrata, 121 Alder Street SW, Ephrata, WA 98823, up to 2:00 p.m.; local time on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof.

The work shall include all labor and materials for the installation of variable frequency drives for the Oxidation Ditch Rotors.

The Work shall be substantially complete within 50 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City of Ephrata, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond payable to the "City of Ephrata" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.

Contract Provisions and Contract Plans may be examined at the City Hall of the City of

Ephrata, local plan centers in the project area, or the office of the Project Engineer, Gray & Osborne, Inc. A copy of the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans may be obtained, free

of charge, in electronic format (PDF on compact disk(s)) along with registration as a planholder only at the Yakima office of the Project Engineer, Gray & Osborne, Inc., 107 South Third

Street, Yakima, WA 98901, (509)453-4833. Request for Contract Provisions and Plans may be faxed (509)-453-5953 or emailed (yakima@g-o.com). Request must include company

name, physical address, phone and fax numbers, and email address. Registration as a planholder is required to obtain Contract Addenda.

A Prebid Conference is scheduled for January 25, 2011. The City strongly urges all bidders to attend. The conference will begin at the Water Reclamation Facility, 13748 Dodson Road, Ephrata, Washington at 10:00 a.m. (local time). Prospective bidders are encouraged to participate. Any other site visits shall be limited to 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and shall be coordinated through Troy Zerb, of the City of Ephrata, by calling 509-754-2992, at least 24 hours in advance of the visit. No unauthorized visits or unscheduled visits will be allowed.
