MANSFIELD - A great shooting effort by Mansfield led to Wilson Creek's second North Central Washington 1B loss, Saturday night.
Allowing multiple three point makes, the visiting Devils fell 77-53 at Mansfield.
"They were shooting the lights out," Wilson Creek Devils head coach Keith Jensen said. "We couldn't get a hand in shooters' faces. They had one kid hit seven threes. That's the breaks."
Derek Fredere led the Devils (6-6, 3-2) with 18 points, Pat Trepanier added 14 points, and Jacob Treat scored 13 points.
Against Valley Christian on Friday night, Wilson Creek trailed 37-30 at halftime before the hosts exploded for a 65-43 win.
The Devils were outscored 28-13 in the second half.
Austin Reyes led Wilson Creek with 20 points and Treat added 15 points.
