Marjorie Fay Ehlke

Marjorie Fay Ehlke, 80, Warden resident passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 at her home.

Marjorie was born January 30, 1930 in Rugby, North Dakota, to the late Harry and Sarah Bennett. She was raised and educated in Russell,

North Dakota where she graduated from high school.

She married Melvin A. Ehlke in 1951 and they made their home in North Dakota. In 1964 they moved to the Seattle area where Marjorie worked in the blue print division of Boeing. After Melvin's retirement in 1988, they moved to Warden where they have lived since. Marjorie's ambition was to play the clarinet with the Six Fat Dutchmen.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula Ehlke and her husband Ken Garza,Moses Lake; a son, Jerry Ehlke and his wife Norma, Auburn, WA;

brothers, Harry and Harvey Bennett, sisters, Jeanette Thurston and Shirley Miller all of North Dakota; three grandchildren, Scott and

Mark Bergersen of California and Joann Ehlke of Auburn, WA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband,

Melvin in July 2010, one son, Dennis Ehlke, one sister, Virginia, and one brother, Jim.
