MOSES LAKE - No matter how good a team's best player is at some point a team's lack of depth can wear on even the mightiest of competitors.

In last night's North Central Washington 2B league contest between hosts Columbia Basin Secondary School and Wenatchee's Cascade Christian, the host Phoenix may have had the game's best player, but the visitors had more legs.

Playing with five players, the Phoenix would fall 83-52 despite another strong offensive output by junior guard Kayleb Jensen, who finished with a game-high 39 points.

CBSS (1-7, 1-3) ended up playing a majority of the second half with only four players.

"We were within 10 when they started to double-team Kayleb," Phoenix head coach Rolland Hansen said. "His teammates were open but we couldn't get our shots to drop. We struggled in the second half and our players looked spent."

Devon Hartman added 10 points for the Phoenix as Cascade Christian (4-4. 1-2) finished with three double-figure scorers.
