COULEE CITY - Hosting their own invitational the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors wrestling team captured two individual titles on Saturday.

Brandon Buche took the title at 215-pounds, with wins over Alex Beltran of Oroville (9-0) and Tevin Stutzman (7-5) of Tri-Cities Prep.

At 285-pounds, Warrior Zach Correll won the title with three pins victories over Isaac Garcia (Ephrata JV), Gabe Beltran (Oroville), and Scott Rice (Concrete).

"I thought we wrestled pretty well on Saturday," ACH head coach Brandon Walsh said. "I was happy especially with our big guys, they came up with a couple of pretty big wins."

The Warriors also ended up with a third-place and four fourth-place finishes.

"We are at that point of the season when the little things are starting to become more important," Walsh said. "We continue to have things to work on in many areas, however, this is a tough group of guys and they're working hard at getting better."
