The Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District is calling

a special meeting of the Directors regarding the recent election

process for a three year Director position.

The Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District is calling a special meeting of the Directors regarding the recent election process for a three year Director position. Several challenged ballots were cast at the polling place. A challenged ballot is offered only when the property owner is not documented by Grant County as being within the MLIRD district boundaries, and is offered to property owners who, for various reasons, feel they should be allowed to vote. Only 15 such property owners were qualified as being within the district boundaries.

The challenged ballots will be counted and the MLIRD election will be completely canvassed at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 932 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake WA. The meeting is open and the public is invited.
