NOTICE OF CLOSING REGISTRATION RECORDS FOR THE FEBRUARY 8, 2011 SPECIAL ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the registration files in the

following Districts: Quincy School Dist #144-J, Royal School

District #160, Ephrata School Dist. #165-J, Grand Coulee School

Dist #301-J, Grant County Port Dist #7 and Quincy Valley Cemetery

Dist. #1; will be closed for voter registration by mail and

transfers from Monday, January 10th, 2011 until after the Special

Election, on Tuesday, February 8, 2011.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the registration files in the following Districts: Quincy School Dist #144-J, Royal School District #160, Ephrata School Dist. #165-J, Grand Coulee School Dist #301-J, Grant County Port Dist #7 and Quincy Valley Cemetery Dist. #1; will be closed for voter registration by mail and transfers from Monday, January 10th, 2011 until after the Special Election, on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. If you are not registered in the State of Washington, you have until January 31, 2011 to appear in person at the Grant County Auditor's office to do so.

The Accessible Voting Unit and drop off location for the February election will be accessible to the public starting 18 days prior to Election Day, January 19th, 2011 at 35 C St. NW Ephrata, Washington. The unit will be set up in the Elections Department during office hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The closing of the books and handling of registrations and transfers are being done in accordance with RCW 29A.08.140.
