Reader disagrees with plan to tax business
It bothers me that I have read in a previous issue of the Herald that the city of Quincy is going to tax Microsoft.
Microsoft, with their payroll, spend money in the local stores. There are a lot of empty buildings in this city. The city of Quincy should not tax Microsoft, or any company that brings in any business.
Grant County is going to raise the power, about 6 percent. The county commissioners are getting salary every month. There areĀ a lot of people working for minimum wages and these are a lot of people out work.
