MOSES LAKE - Roadways from Wilson Creek to Grand Coulee were closed Thursday due to blowing and drifting snow.

Roads were reopened Thursday afternoon, after winds slowed, stated Grant County Emergency Management spokesman Kyle Foreman.

Grant County workers initially thought they would have to close the roads for several days, after blowing and drifting snow made visibility unsafe, stated Foreman.

Drivers are asked to use extreme caution when driving in the winter conditions, he said.

"Motorists should be aware that if wind picks up again, snow many drift across highways," stated Foreman.
