Virginia L. Hoffstot, 87, longtime Moses Lake resident passed away

Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at home. No services will be held, but

please leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com

Virginia was born on August 16, 1923 in Boise, Idaho, daughter of

the late George and Cecil Kemper. She was raised and educated in

Boise. She was married to Robert O. Hoffstot in Boise, Idaho on

June 30, 1946. They settled in Kalispell, Montana where Robert

worked on the Hungry Horse Dam and Virginia worked as a

receptionist/technician support for Pacific Northwest Bell. They

moved to Ephrata in the early 1950’s and have lived in Grant County

ever since. They enjoyed traveling around the country in their

motor home and also around the world including Spain, Egypt, South

America and many other countries before Robert passed away in

February of 1994.

She is survived by one son, Michael Hoffstot, Moses Lake; two

daughters and one son-in-law Sheila and Kelvin Jordan, Midland,

Texas and Shannon Kemper, Moses Lake; six grandchildren, Donnie

Scaible, Troy Scaible, Joey Sciumbato, Staci Sciumbato, Wesley

Hoffstot and Whitney Hoffstot; 4 great grandchildren.
