Notice is hereby given that a Minor Zone Change application and

SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on February 4, 2011 from

Vaughn Hunsaker, 6335 Winesap Rd., Moses Lake, WA 98837. Owner's

Designated Contact: Columbia NW Engineering, PS., 249 N. Elder

Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837 (509)766-1226 were found to be

technically complete on February 8, 2011.

    Notice is hereby given that a Minor Zone Change application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on February 4, 2011 from Vaughn Hunsaker, 6335 Winesap Rd., Moses Lake, WA 98837. Owner's Designated Contact: Columbia NW Engineering, PS., 249 N. Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837 (509)766-1226 were found to be technically complete on February 8, 2011. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-significance for this proposal utilizing the Optional DNS Process as outlined in WAC 197-11-355. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the

only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon

request. PROJECT: A Minor Zone Change of approximately 49 acres from Rural Residential 1 to Urban Residential 2, in order to make the Zoning District of the subject area consistent with the Comprehensive Plan amendment process. PRESENT ZONING: Rural Residential - 1. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: None. STUDIES SUBMITTED: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The subject area is located south of Winesap Rd and West of Malaga Dr. NE, and is located in Section 19, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, WM, Grant County, WA. (Parcels #14-1691-000, 14-1691-001, 17-0756-001, 14-1693-000, 14-1693-001) RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: Planning Commission hearing tentatively scheduled at 7:00 pm on April 6, 2011, in the Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony.
