NOTICE TO EQUIPMENT DEALERS

Sealed bids, plainly marked "Bid for Miscellaneous Equipment,

Equipment Contract 2011-02", will be received by Grant County at

the Office of the Board of County Commissioners located in the

County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW - Room 207, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata,

WA 98823, until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011, and will then and

there be opened and publicly read for furnishing and

delivering:

Informational copies of the proposal and specifications are on file with the County Engineer in the Grant County Public Works Building, 124 Enterprise St. S.E., Ephrata, WA 98823.

Any bidder offering new equipment shall include in their proposal an offer to purchase the trade-in equipment. The County assumes the new equipment bidder's trade-in offer is a part of the bid including the new equipment. The bidder's trade-in offer will only be considered separately if the bidder grants permission to the County to consider their trade-in offer separately.

Any person or company may make an offer to purchase the trade-in equipment independent of a bid on the sale of the new equipment. Such offers shall be made on forms provided by the County. The bidders are advised that mileage will continue to accumulate at the current usage rate until replacement vehicles are delivered. The County is offering the following trade-ins:

This power broom may be inspected at Dist 2 Shop near Moses Lake, WA., 12171 Rd. 3 NE, Monday through Thursday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. (509)765-4172

1985 Coats 850 Wheel Balancer

This wheel balancer may be inspected at Central Shop, 124 Enterprise St. SE, Ephrata, WA, Monday through Thursday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. (509)754-6086

All equipment is offered "AS IS". Prospective buyers may view the equipment at the convenience of the operator. Please call the department to make arrangements to inspect the vehicle. All equipment is operating and currently in-service. Central Shop (509)754-6086.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject or accept any or all portions of the bids received.
