Moses Lake woman stabbed

MOSES LAKE - A Moses Lake woman was stabbed in the abdomen Saturday morning.

Taryn Mcdonnell, 26, Moses Lake, was smoking in an alleyway on West Ivy Avenue when she was reportedly confronted by a white male wearing a ski mask, according to Moses Lake police Capt. Dave Ruffin.

The male suspect allegedly demanded her car keys and money, then reportedly stabbed Mcdonnell in the abdomen.

The suspect ran off and Mcdonnell called for her boyfriend, who was inside of a house next to the alley at the time, according to Ruffin.

Barden called 9-1-1 and reported the incident.

Mcdonnell was transported to Samaritan Hospital for treatment, according to Ruffin.

The investigation continues.
