| February 10, 2011 5:00 AM

Born in Moses Lake, Washington, on February 20, 1973, was called home by our Lord on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington, after a long courageous battle of health complications.

Brandy was raised in Moses Lake by his parents, Daniel and Ruthie Ann Marez. Brandy was a fun loving, caring person with a magnetizing personality. He had many, many friends. He was very well known for his tremendous pool skills, and even competed in tournaments in Las Vegas. Brandy was also known as a "jokester," always telling jokes and pulling pranks on people. He loved to make people laugh. He was a very giving person, there was nothing he wouldn't do to help out a friends or loved one. Although pool was his passion, he also enjoyed making Native American objects out of beads and leather. Brandy also enjoyed fishing, camping, listening to oldies, tattoos, and spending time with his children and his family. One of his best childhood memories was listening to Freddy Fender with his dad.

Brandy was survived by his mother, Ruthie Ann Marez; daughter, Brittany Danielle Aguilar; fiancee, Kara Quintana; his children, Jevyn and Lillee; brothers, Tom Martinsen, Junior and David Marez, and their families; God sister, April Cisneros; God  brother, Juan Mena Jr.; his dear aunts, Merry (Juan) Blanco, Mickie (Gil) Williamson, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles in Moses Lake, as well as many relatives in Dilley, Texas, and good friend Susana Sandoval.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nestor Aguilar, his loving step-dad Daniel Marez, his grandparents Edward and Edna Couch, his uncle Cesar Adame, his aunt Ila Rietz, cousins Sharon Rietz and Shana Hernandez.

The family would like to give a special thank you to his fiancee Kara for being by his side always, and loving Brandy unconditionally till the end.

A memorial will be held to honor Brandy's memory on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

We love you Branflake - Always loved, never forgotten.
