WARDEN - Tonight's game against Entiat will determine what Warden's Central Washington 2B league playoff fate will be.

A win would give the Cougars a fourth seed at the district tournament while a loss would force a tiebreaker for Warden against Entiat this weekend.

The scenario was set after Warden's 53-29 win over Waterville on Saturday's Senior Night.

Victor Flores led Warden (7-12, 5-6) with 20 points, Jesse Madrigales added eight points, and Brandon Wurzer dished out a team-high eight assists.

The previous evening, the Cougars lost a 42-37 overtime decision to Riverside Christian in Warden.

They managed to force overtime despite shooting only 15 percent from the field.

"I was proud we were able to battle defensively and stay in the game," Warden head coach Wes Richins said.

Ty Jesse led Warden with 13 points in the loss.

Warden beat Entiat at home earlier this season.
