Super revenge thanks to the Green Bay Packers
I have only been excited about one Super Bowl. The rest I have watched more for the commercials.
In 2005 my beloved Seattle Seahawks faced the Pittsburgh "Stealers."
Yes, that is how I want to spell the team's name. It's good to be the editor.
I still have a beef with them for stealing the Super Bowl from my home team. The officials helped, more like committed the mistakes in judgment, but I blame the Stealers.
I have watched the Seahawks as part of a family tradition since they started in 1976.
I faithfully waited 29 years to watch them inĀ Super Bowl.
Yes. I am a little bitter.
This year I enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers defeat the Pittsburgh Stealers on Sunday.
Joy. Revenge!
I could start cheering for the Packers, but only as a back up to the Seahawks.
I will even blame the Stealers for Christina Aguilera's botched national anthem and the terrible sound mix during the Black Eyed Peas' halftime show.
Doesn't matter. I will forget the entertainment issues. All I will remember is enjoying a non-Seahawk Super Bowl for once.
