MOSES LAKE - The names of a 2-year-old boy killed in a car crash

Wednesday morning and the woman driving the car were released.

MOSES LAKE - The names of a 2-year-old boy killed in a car crash Wednesday morning and the woman driving the car were released.

The Grant County Coroner's Office determined Wayatt Caviglia, 2, of Moses Lake, died due to blunt force trauma to the head and neck.

The driver of the 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier was Sabrina Caviglia, 33, Moses Lake.

Caviglia was heading eastbound on Road Four Northeast when she reportedly ran a stop sign while approaching Road L Northeast in Moses Lake, according to the sheriff's office.

The car was struck in the side by a 2004 Honda CR-V traveling southbound on Road L Northeast.

The Honda was driven by Gary Frederich, 51, Moses Lake.

The collision investigation continues, said chief deputy Ken Jones.

Investigators have not cited Caviglia, but may once the investigation is complete, he said.
