Viola Thelma Adams

Viola Thelma Adams passed away on January 29, 2011 at Samaritan Hospital, at the age of 102. She was born May 20, 1908 to Millard and Dorothy (Tharp) Triplett in Trinidad, CO.

She graduated from Coulee City High School in 1928 and married Howard Adams on July 5, 1930. The couple lived in Coulee City until they moved to Moses Lake in 1952 to farm in Cascade Valley.

Vi belonged to the VFW for 65 years. She was active in the Miss Moses Lake Pageant for over 25 years. She liked to read, cook, and crochet.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma Jean Jones; granddaughter Dian (Bill) Kloida, grandsons, Michael Jones and David Jones; two great-grandchildren Glen Weaver and Veronica Jones, two great-great grandchildren Serenity and Joshua Weaver; and her brother M.M. Triplett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard in 1996.

Vi also had two special friends that we would like to recognize: Rosie Villegas and Fortune Wagner.

A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
