ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION

BAF has applied for renewal of its State Waste Discharge Permit

(SWDP) in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised

Code of Washington (RCW) and Chapter 173-216 Washington

Administrative Code (WAC).

BAF has applied for renewal of its State Waste Discharge Permit (SWDP) in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and Chapter 173-216 Washington Administrative Code (WAC).

BAF presently owns and operates a potato processing facility that discharges process wastewater to land via irrigation to approximately 2,300 acres for final treatment. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued.

The Department of Ecology is proposing to renew the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent. Interested persons are invited to submit their name, address, and comments regarding this permit to:
