WATERVILLE - A dramatic weekend, complete with two one-point

games ended on a positive note for the Soap Lake Eagles on

Saturday.

The Eagles held on for a 55-54 win at Waterville on Saturday, as

David Coreas poured in 21 points in the win.

The Eagles held on for a 55-54 win at Waterville on Saturday, as David Coreas poured in 21 points in the win.

Jason Korneychuk added 12 points and Anthony King finished with eight points for the Eagles (3-12, 1-7).

Only 24 hours earlier Soap Lake were only seconds away from two narrow wins but lost 58-57 to Entiat on a buzzer-beating shot.

Coreas added 22 points, Korneychuk added 16 points, and Colton Franks finished with 10 points.
