Moses Lake rings the new year

MOSES LAKE - People throughout Moses Lake will usher in the new year on Saturday with events for families, as well as an opportunity for adults to lift their champagne glasses.

Larson Recreation Center

Larson Recreation Center hosts a night of ice skate rentals, batting cages, pool, air hockey, foosball, broomball competitions, video games, computers, music and food.

The event is for grades six through 12 and runs from 9 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

Preregistration and a parent waiver are required. Admission is $10 per person if registered by today. Admission is $15 thereafter.

People can register at the Larson Recreation Center, 610 S. Yakima St., in Moses Lake.

Kangaroo Bounce House and Party Rentals

Kangaroo Bounce House and Party Rentals hosts a family New Year's Eve party starting at 6 p.m. Saturday at 210 S. Ash St., in Moses Lake.

The event features activities throughout the night, including bounce houses for kids, dancing, concessions, games for parents and children and videos.

Admission is $5 per hour per child, or $10 for the evening.

Porterhouse Steakhouse

The Porterhouse Steakhouse, 217 N. Elder St., holds a New Year's Eve party starting 8 p.m. Saturday. Reservations are required.

Black and white attire is suggested. The party includes a prime rib buffet, dancing, a midnight champagne toast and live music from Lake City Blues.

Admission is $27.50 per person.
