Debate to be part of CPW meeting

REARDAN – There will be a debate at the monthly meeting of the Cattle Producers of Washington here on Jan. 11, but it won't be among Republican presidential candidates.

The Reardan High School FFA debate team will take on proposed legislation in Olympia regarding child labor. It is sure to impact cattle producing families.

The CPW meeting will get under way at  7 p.m. at Reardan's Red Rooster at 305 W. Broadway St. and Highway 2. There will be a no-host dinner at 7 p.m.

Among other topics, the CPW will discuss the upcoming CPW legislative days in Olympia on Feb. 8-9.
